How accounts connect
Forcletter connects business and creator accounts through Meta’s official Instagram Graph API and OAuth. You approve permissions on Meta’s official screen; Forcletter stores only authorized access tokens. Your Instagram login credentials are not sent to or stored by Forcletter.
Data Forcletter accesses
- Public profile information for your connected account, such as name, photo and follower count.
- Post, Reel, carousel and Story insights, including reach, saves, shares, visits and follows.
- Comments and DMs only when you enable the relevant features.
- Your connected Meta account’s email for login identification.
How data is used
- Account analysis and dashboards.
- Weekly reports and eligible Kakao Alimtalk notifications.
- Personalized analysis and suggestions from AI Poki.
- Comment and DM support, including automated replies, spam hiding and sorting.
- Minimal logs for operations, incident response and security audits.
Privacy safeguards
- No Instagram passwords are stored; connections use Meta OAuth.
- Personal information in relevant messages, such as resident IDs, card numbers, phone numbers and emails, is masked automatically.
- Access tokens are stored encrypted, and server communication uses HTTPS.
- Disconnecting an account stops use of its token and further processing of its collected data.
What Forcletter does not do
- Store your Instagram login credentials or sign in as you using a password.
- Share or sell connected account data to other users.
- Collect personal information for marketing or advertising resale.
- Perform bot follows, artificial likes, DM spam or other prohibited actions.
